Modern Life:

It’s nearly 10:30 in the morning.  On a gorgeous Friday.  I’ve had ice cream and coffee for breakfast and Tucker is sunbathing by the window.  It’s a scene from a movie.  Except every once and a while I hear a small Pffft come from the peaceful but oh so gassy dog.
I think once I get showered and ready, I’ll be taking him to the dog park so he can fart and run until he is empty of all energy and gas.
Tomorrow is supposed to be in the high sixties, but instead of going to the zoo, like we originally planned, I think Ryan is going to be playing Mass Effect 3 and I’ll be reading and learning Hindi.  We’ll save money that way.
Even though I now have a job, I still have to actually start and work to earn that pay, so, money is a little tight, but we’ll be fine.  I just can’t wait for work.  I’m really excited.  No more poopy diapers or tantrums.  No more selling IT products.  No more stressing and crying because I feel worthless.  Just naan and daal and tandoori chicken.  I can do it.  And I’ll even smile.
This is us.  Ryan, Tucker and me.  Our life.  With all the farts, and video games and ice cream a girl could ever want.

I'm 26. Lost and in transition. I don't have the answers, just thoughts.
